Testing out some Vellum paper, I decided to do a freestyle drawing of the Incredible Hulk from Marvel Comics.

Copic Markers:

G40 DIM GREEN

Pigma Micron 005 pen – Black
Pigma Brush Marker – Black

Pitt & Ripclaw Comic Book Ink on Paper Illustration

Like the Union comic book I mentioned earlier, I did not own any comics with Pitt or Ripclaw. The majority of my comic books as a child came from a local convenience store that carried primarily Marvel comics. Based on the style and my signature, this was illustrated in 1996 when I was in 8th grade.

I’m not certain which comic book this came from, because he made some cameos in other Image comic books in the 90s,

I used textured white paper and a black and red fine point sharpie.

Union Comic Book Cover in Color Pencil from 1995

I do not recall owning a Union comic book, so there is a good chance I borrowed this from someone in middle school study hall to draw the cover.

The problem with free-hand drawing is sometimes you run out of paper and the guy looks like he skipped leg day at the gym. I should have extended the feet beyond the edge of the paper like I still do to this day.
